The server is at https://app.soapflix.ai/mcp (MCP over Streamable HTTP). A GET request returns a description of the server.

OAUTH

Claude and other MCP clients

Add https://app.soapflix.ai/mcp as a connector or remote MCP server. The server supports OAuth with dynamic client registration, so you approve the app in your browser and your agent is signed in.

API TOKEN

Your own agents and scripts

Make a personal API token on the app's Settings page, and send it with every request as Authorization: Bearer <token>.

Tools

Nine tools, one flow.

A typical flow: create_story, then one_shot with target cast, then one_shot for each episode (or the whole story), then get_episode_video for each playable episode.

create_story

Starts writing a new story from a premise. Writing takes one to three minutes. Uses credits.

get_story_status

A story's progress, in brief. Poll it (about every 20 seconds) while work is in progress.

get_story

The whole story: cast, poster, episodes, media, and what is still missing. Call it once, not in a loop.

one_shot

Makes everything still missing, in the background: target cast, one episode, or the whole story. Uses credits.

cancel_one_shot

Stops a story's running one-shot.

get_episode_video

Returns the video URL of a playable episode, or starts making it. Free.

list_stories

The user's stories, newest first, filtered by tags or by words in the story's text.

list_tags

The tags stories can have: genre, setting, era, theme, mood and more.

get_balance

The user's credit balance, subscription and free stories left.

Work that makes stories, images, voiceovers and music uses the user's credits. Making an episode video is free. Without a subscription, a user can make 3 stories.
